    Moord in Bilderdijkstraat?

    Oude man gestorven onder verdachte omstandigheden

    Amsterdam, — Maandag. Vannacht omstreeks kwart over twee troffen twee voorbijgangers in de Bilderdijkstraat een oude man aan, die In zijn pyama op de stoep van zijn woning lag te kreunen. „Ze. hebben me een schop voor mijn buik gegeven", zei hij met hakkelende stem en daarna sloot hij de ogen. Voorbijgangers waarschuwden onmiddellijk de geneeskundige dienst en de politie, maar de man bleek bij aankomst in het Wilhelminagasthuis reeds te zijn overleden.
    Ofschoon aanvankelijk aan een hartverlamming werd gedacht, heeft een nader onderzoek van de politie uitgewezen, dat hier waarschijnlijk misdrijf in het spel is. Het slachtoffer is de 68-jarige pianostemmer en -handelaar H. Borgsteede, die in zijn.winkel aan de Bilderdijkstraat 183 een zeer teruggetrokken leven leidde. Hij was voor de tweede maal getrouwd, doch leefde reeds geruime tijd gescheiden van deze tweede, veel jongere vrouw... Volgens verklaringen van de buren was het herhaalde malen tot ernstige twisten tussen de echtgenoten gekomen, wanneer zij Zaterdagmiddags geld kwam halen. De laatste tijd liet hij haar zelfs niet meer binnen, maar schoof het geld onder de deur door. Overburen van het slachtoffer hebben Zondagmiddag drie mensen bij hem binnen zien gaan, terwijl hij anders nooit bezoek kreeg. De bewoners van de voorwoning, op éénhoog hadden van half twee af een voortdurend hijgend gekreun gehoord, maar hadden hier geen acht op geslagen, omdat zij dachten.dat de buurman van één hoog-achter last van kiespijn had. De nachtelijke huiszoeking van de politie in de winkel en de daarachter gelegen woning, die in een vervuilde toestand verkeerden, leverde geen resultaat op. Een uitgebreid onderzoek wordt ingesteld.
