Hij had vermoedelijk het bezit van “Oenema” te Joure.(Noomen)


Voor zijn grafsteen: "Kerk te Terkaple d.d. 3-9-1840" in de Vrije Fries II (1842) blz.131/134 (zie: documenten).


In 2016 vond er wegens verzakking herstelwerkzaamheden plaats aan de fundering van de kerk van Terkaple. Hierbij werd een grafzerk uit 1485 van de edelman Tjepke Oenema blootgelegd.
