B. an den Pfarrer in Rölsdorf, 06.06.1958: "Einige Tage nachher (März 1942) kam abends im Dunkel Isaak Fromm aus Gürzenich, der ebenfalls im Napplager untergebracht war, in meine Wohnung. Seit 1925 waren wir beide befreundet und hatten uns zuletzt 1928/29 gesehen. Ernste Blicke, fragend kreuzten sich.

Worauf Fromm sagte, ich weiß alles, auch über die KZs. Wir Juden im Nappgelände wissen, dass wir alle bald sterben müssen, aber die Gerechtigkeit wird der Tyra(n)nei bald ein Ende machen. Nach 1/2 Stunde trennten wir uns mit den Worten bis zum letzten zu kämpfen, und zog Fromm im Dunkel der Nacht wieder ab zum Napplager."
[Geschichtswerkstatt] Schreiben Amtsbürgermeister Birgel an Regierungspräsidenten Aachen vom 19. Juni 1944: "Betrifft: Verwendung von eingezogenen jüdischen Vermögen. ... Die Gemeinde Gürzenich hat ein Interesse zur Übernahme des Wohnhauses mit Garten von Isaak Fromm Gürzenich, Flur 13 Parzelle 403/87, gross 10,14 ar. Das Gebäude soll als Lehrerdienstwohnung und für die Schwester der NS-Schwesterstation in Gürzenich Verwendung finden. Im Grundbuch ist z. Zt. als Eigentümer das Deutsche Reich (Reichsfinanzverwaltung, vertreten durch das Finanzamt Düren) eingetragen. Der Besitz ist lastenfrei."
