Het echtpaar trouwt in op het oudershuis van Willem op de katerstede "Lavarne" in de Beuseberg/Agterhoek. In 1723 en 1724 wordt Willem aldaar aangeslagen voor 2 personen hoofdgeld. Omstreeks 1748/1749 stichten ze een nieuwe katerstede in de
