Arent van Heerde is geboren in 1819. Hij was zoon van Willem van Heerde(geboren in 1794) en Berendina Aartman. Zoon van Arent was onder andere Gesinus van Heerde geboren in 1863 en getrouwd met Antje Buis. Zie pondes.
Gesinus en Antje hadden onder andere een zoon Simon van Heerde, geborenop 16 oktober 1894 en overleden in Emmen op 4 augustus 1949. Simon waseerst verbonden aan een ziekenhuis in Den Helder en later als chirurg en gynaecoloog aan een ziekenhuis in Emmen. Simon trouwde op 14 mei 1930 met Elsa Suzanna Emilie Reijnders, geboren op 9 oktober 1906 en overleden op 4 maart 1998. Simon en Elsa zijn begraven op de begraafplaats Brandenburg in Bilthoven. Zij hadden (veel) kinderen.
