Pieter Kuiper had 3 huizen aan het Weerpad in Oostzaan. voor zijn overlijden is de waarde van deze panden bepaald op enige duizenden guldens en is Pieter door dochter Maartje ('tante Ma') gedwongen te tekenen dat de erfenis naar de Liefting familie ging. Dirk Bindt heeft zich ingezetvoor zijn moeder dat er toch een deel van de erfenis naar de Bindt-takging.
Pieter is begraven op de Nieuwe Ooster begraafplaats.
