Eind november kwamen er twee groepen Nederlanders aan vanuit het Lager Schafstädt. De gevangenen die nog konden werken werden in december bij onder andere Buna-Werke tewerkgesteld. Vanaf 1950 maakt Ammendorf deel uit van de stad Halle.
