Christiaan Biesta is op 8 april 1769 vertrokken uit nederland met bestemming Batavia. Het VOC schip waarmee hij wegging heette " Lekkerlust"De kapitein op dat Schip was Abraham van Leeuwen.
Het schip voer via Kaap de Goede Hoop naar Batavia.
Op 22 november 1769 kwam het in de Kaap aan en vertrok weer op 14 januari 1770 om uiteidelijk op 28 april 1770 in Batavia aan te komen.
De "Lekkerlust is gebouwd in Hoorn ong. 1755. Het was 140 voet lang, kon 880 ton vervoeren en de bemaniningbestond uit 242 tot 262 koppen. Op 21 oktober 1774 is het schip afgelegd of te wel opgelgd in Indie.
Het schip heeft 7 of 8 reizen gemaakt naar Batavia.
21-02-2013; Nog niet gevonden of Christiaan ook in Batavia is aangekomen.
