Notes about Fokje Akze.[Haxe].

Als eerste dochter is Fokje vernoemd naar Fokje IJbeles Dijkstra, de groot-
moeder aan moederskant.

Fokje krijgt bij haar geboorte helemaal een verkeerde achternaam: Akse; dit
moet Haxe zijn. Akse is een bestaande achternaam van een familie die haar
oorsprong in Steenwijk heeft. Zie voor uitvoerige informatie over deze familie

Aangever van de geboorte is grootvader Hielke Tolsma. Akse en Haxe wisselen
elkaar later af.

Op 27 juni 1898 verlaat Fokje het ouderlijk huis in Giethoorn en vertrekt naar
de gemeente Steenwijkerwold (Overijssel). Bron: Bev.reg. Giethoorn 1895-

In april 1902 trouwt ze in Giethoorn als Fokje Akze met de (eveneens) 20-
jarige sigarenmaker Jan Bierman, die geboren is in Steenwijk. De vader
van Fokje wordt in de huwelijksakte Jelle Hannes Akze genoemd. Kennelijk
heeft er geen enkele controle van zijn achternaam of identiteit plaatsgevon-
den, bijvoorbeeld aan de hand van zijn geboorteakte of een uittreksel hiervan.
