Willem woonde op de Strook D37 in de gemeente Winkel .De bijnaam was Willem Lidder,op een dag had hij zoveel ansjovis gevangen dat zijn bood lidderde van de vis[uit schipper van de wal]
Op zijn militaier inschrijf register staat van beroep visventer, 1705 mm lang is ,ovaal aangezicht,blauwe oogen heeft en bruin haar,vrij gesteld van dienst ivm broederschap.
De staversejol had waarschijnlijk de roepletters WIN 7.
