Is in 1940 in Duitsland gaan werken. Het bevolkingsregister van Rotterdam tekende aan: bij aanmelding onmiddellijk de politie te waarschuwen. Na de oorlog dook hij op in Amsterdam, o.a. na gevangenschap in Norg, en omzwervingen door Nederland en België. Er worden beroepen als musicus, vertegenwoordiger, mijnwerker en draaier vermeld. In Amsterdam vestigde hij zich eind juli 1956 in de Krusemanstraat en eind december van dat jaar (inmiddels getrouwd) aan de Amsteldijk. Daarna ontbreekt het spoor. Hij is in ieder geval niet in Amsterdam gebleven.
