    De heilige Landrada (Wintershoven - Munsterbilzen, 8 juli 690) was kluizenares, voordat zij het klooster van Munsterbilzen stichtte en er abdis werd. Zij zou een dochter geweest zijn van Karel Martel[1].

    Volgens een legende had Lambertus van Maastricht, die pas in Munsterbilzen aankwam toen Landrada al was overleden, onderweg een visioen gekregen waaruit bleek dat Landrada in Wintershoven begraven moest worden. Toen de inwoners van Munsterbilzen duidelijk maakten dat ze het lichaam van de Landrada niet wilden afstaan, bleek het graf van Landrada in Munsterbilzen evenwel leeg te zijn en vond de koster van Wintershoven 's anderendaags het lichaam van Landrada bij de kerkdeur. De "Vita Landradae" werd rond 1100 geschreven door Diederik (Theodoricus), abt van Sint-Truiden.
