    Ook Philips van Duvenvoorde en Wassenaer.Philips van Duivenvoorde werd op 6 november 1295 door graaf Floris V beleend met Polanen, bij Monster in het Westland. Hij werd hiermede de eerste "Heer van Polanen" Hij trok in 1298 namens graaf Jan I naar Frankrijkom een bondgenootschap met koning Philips IV te sluiten. Op 5 november 1303 deed hij met 3 andere heren uitspraak in een geschil over goederen inTieselijnswaarde. Op 10 maart 1304 werd hij door graaf Jan II begiftigd met 100 pond "tot betering van zijn leen" Op 2 augustus 1305 trad hij op als arbiter, was op 24 juni 1307 nog in leven.
