    De heilige Gunthram (ook wel gespeld Gontram) (+/- 532 - Chalon-sur-Saône, 28 maart 592) was de tweede zoon van de Frankische koning Chlotarius I en de Thüringse prinses Ingund. Zijn broers waren de koningen Charibert I van Neustrië, Chilperic I van Soissons en Sigebert I van Austrasië. Gunthram werd in 561 koning van Orléans, en in 567 koning van Bourgondië, Marseille en Arles.

    Hij huwde Mercatrudis, maar scheidde later van haar. Toen Mercatrudis ziek werd, doodde hij haar arts. Nadien bekeerde hij zich. Gunthram was een bedreven diplomaat en steunde de kerk. De deemoedige Gunthram was geliefd bij het volk, maar er zijn ook bloedige gewelddaden van deze heerser bekend.

    Zijn naamdag is op 28 maart. Gunthram is de patroonheilige van de uit de echtgescheidenen, de moordenaars en de bewakers.
