    Vratislav II (rond 1035 - 1092), uit het geslacht der Premysliden, was een zoon van hertog Bretislav I van Bohemen en Judith van Schweinfurt, uit het Oostenrijkse geslacht van het huis Babenberg. Na het overlijden van zijn vader, kreeg hij Moravië-Olomouc toebedeeld, maar moest naar Hongarije vluchten door problemen met zijn oudere broer Spythinev. Met behulp van Hongarije, slaagde hij er in Moravië-Olomouc te heroveren. Hij verzoende zich met zijn broer en volgde deze op in 1061. In 1076 werd hij ook markgraaf van Meißen, nadat Hendrik IV Meißen van Egbert II afgenomen had, omdat die tégen hem partij gekozen had. In 1085 mocht hij de koningstitel voeren.

    Hij was gehuwd met Adelheid van Hongarije, dochter van koning Andreas I van Hongarije, en met Swatawa van Polen, dochter van hertog Casimir I van Polen.
