    Er was nog iemand die zich, onbewust, in de onmiddellijke nabijheid van de ramp had bevonden in
    deze nacht. Dit betrof de 58 jarige, te Kimswerd in Friesland geboren en te Hargen wonende Hans
    Fokkema. Deze had, samen met zijn compagnon, de 35-jarige Jan Baskes uit Groet, een scheepswrak
    gekocht dat ter hoogte van St. Maartenszee op het strand lag. Het was afkomstig van de aldaar
    verongelukte koopvaarder ST. ANTHONIE.

22 aug 1783., Jan Jansz. Bakker en Antje Jans Kroef(?), egtelieden, van Groet.
De voornamen kloppen Ze komen uit Groet naar de Zijpe en zijn getrouwd.
Bakker kan Baskes zijn, maar Kroef (vraagteken) lijkt natuurlijk niet op Meijer.
Toch maar even genoteerd.
