    Adriaen Willem Zeuwen wordt,voorzover bekend,het eerst vermeld in een reeks rekeningen van de rentmeester van Wouw etc. resp.uit de jaren 1546 en 1547. De eerste notitie luidt: "Adriaen Willem Zeuwen die de reste vanden geer gehadt heeft ende tselve hem niet gelevert en is en noch niet gegeven en heeft". De tweede notitie luidt: "Adriaen Willem Zeuwen die de reste vanden geer gehuert heeft ende t selve hem niet gelevert en is ende tselve ook niet en gebruijckt noch ooc niet hebben en wilt overmits dat hem stade geschiet is dat de vaert over sijn goet loopt".
