    Hugo I van Vaudémont (gest. 1165) was een zoon van Gerard I van Vaudémont en Hedwige van Dagsbourg. In 1118 volgde hij zijn vader op als graaf van Vaudémont. Er is weinig over hem bekend. Wel wordt hij veel vermeld in akten betreffende abdijen, waarin hij optreedt als getuige of als partij. Hij begeleidde Lodewijk VII van Frankrijk bij de Tweede Kruistocht, en keert pas terug uit het Heilig Land in 1163 om twee jaar later te sterven. Tijdens zijn afwezigheid nam zijn zoon Gerard het bestuur van het graafschap waar.
