    In Schermerhorn in 1713 verkoopt Aeltje Claes, weduwe van Dirck Willemsz Raersvelt, geassisteerd met Jan Dircksz Smit haar zoon als voogd in dezen, aan Claes Jansz burger van Spanbroek een huis en erf wezende eem smederij met alle smidsgereedschap alhier op de Breestraet, belend ten oosten Pieter Wijbartsz, ten westen Cornelis Huijbertsz, voor een custingbrief (van ƒ 432, geroyeerd op 5 febr. 1715), en verklaren, Aeltje Claes weduwe van Dirck Willemsz Raersvelt, en Jan Dircksz Smit haar zoon, dat zij aan hem heeft getransporteerd haar huis en erf waar zij tegenwoordig in woont en zal blijven wonen in het achterkeukentje haar leven lang, in de Breestraet, belend ten oosten de weduwe van Maertje Klaas, waarbij hij Jan Smit voornoemd op zich neemt te betalen wat zij op 't huis en erf schuldig is alsook de ƒ 150 gld hypotheek t.b.v. onze schout Liets
