    Amadeus III van Savoye (1094 - Nicosia, 1148), was de oudste zoon van graaf Humbert II van Savoye en Gisela van Bourgondië.

    Hij volgde zijn vader op als graaf van Savoye en zette diens politiek voort. Samen met Bernard van Clairvaux begeleidde hij koning Lodewijk VII van Frankrijk op de tweede kruistocht. Hij stichtte in 1125 het huisklooster in Hautecombe.

    Amadeus was gehuwd met Mathilde van Albon, dochter van graaf Guido III van Grenoble
