    Diogo Fernandes (c. 850 - c. 928) foi um nobre medieval da Península Ibérica, que por casamento foi conde do Condado Portucalense no Século IX[1].
    Biografia

    No ano 873 e por casamento, recebeu o título de 1º Conde de Portucale por morte de Lucídio Vimaranes, pai da sua esposa e com quem dividiu o governo do condado pelo menos desde o ano 924 e até 926 ou 928.[2]

    Segundo os historiadores Diogo Fernandes nasceu na família castelhana dos Ansures, sendo que o seu pai foi o conde Fernão Ansurez, e o seu irmão, o primeiro conde de Lugo Ero Fernandes.

    Diogo Fernandes chegou ao condado de Portucal no final do Século IX vindo do Reino de Castela, e segundo o crónista Sampiro acompanhou o Infante Bermudo Ordóñez (? - 928) , que foi exilado em Coimbra depois de uma revolta fracassada contra seu irmão, rei das Astúrias, Afonso III das Astúrias, embora alguns historiadores defendam que se exilou em terras ainda não conquistadas aos árabes.

    Foi filho de Fernão Ansurez, conde de Castela e de Muniadona Nuñez, Casou com a Condessa Onega Lucides de Portugal cujo nome também aparece grafado como Óneca Lucides e Ónega Garcês de Plamplona (c. 850 - 959).[3], filha de Lucídio Vimaranes (850 - 922) e de Gudilona Mendes (c. 862 -?)
