Jan is ondertrouwd te Sint Anthonie Polder 8.5.1694 en getrouwd te Sint Anthonie Polder 30.5.1694 voor de kerk met Ariaantje Bastiaans Gelderblom, gedoopt te Sint Anthonie Polder 7.5.1673, overleden na 1753, dochter van Bastiaen Cornelis Gelderblom (herbergier, veerman en schepen) en Aryaentie Cornelis Polderdijk.

Ariaantje is later getrouwd te Maasdam 5.5.1720 met Pleun Willems Vogelaar, overleden te Maasdam 10.3.1728.
