    Mijn vader Cees Wever heeft in zijn jeugd tbc gehad. Ik denk dat het rond wo2 was. Er was een koe op stal die tbc had en mijn vader is daardoor besmet.
    Best wel een drama in die tijd, want dat was een gevaarlijke ziekte, geld voor een sanatorium was er niet in die tijd maar gezond verstand en inventiviteit wel.
    Advies van de dokter was veel frisse lucht en zon.
    Er is links van slootgaardweg 25 een draaibaar hutje gebouwd waarin Cees moest kuren, door het draaibare kon hij meedraaien met de zon en optimaal van de zon genieten op elk tijdstip van de dag.
    Ik weet niet of hij er ook 's-nachts sliep. Wellicht ivm de besmettelijkheid en de andere kinderen in huis.
    Maar er was ook ander advies, ik weet niet meer van wie, of het Hannes Blauw was of iemand anders. Maar dat advies was om pissebedden te eten in een ouwel. Geen grapje! Het was blijkbaar een oude wijsheid en die hebben mijn grootouders Piet Wever en Grietje Degeling opgevolgd. Ik weet ook niet hoeveel hij er gehad heeft en hoe vaak maar hij heeft ze gegeten en hij heeft de ziekte ook overleefd.
    De zon zorgde voor vitamine D aanmaak en de pissebedden wellicht voor andere vitamines en zie onderstaand.
    Hij sterkte weer aan en wist de ziekte op die manier te overwinnen in een mini sanatorium en met oude volkswijsheid.
