Visser; Schipper van de BU 134; Transporteur; In 1916 is Jan Baas met een hondenkar begonnen om melk naar Baarn te rijden. Op een gegeven moment is hij begonnen om spullen mee terug te nemen vanuit Baarn naar Bunschoten. Dat werd steeds meer en meer zodat hij kon stoppen met de melk en de hondenkar werd geruild voor paard en wagen. Later werd er naar Amersfoort gereden en niet meer naar Baarn. Daar is zijn zoon Peter Baas mee doorgegaan.
