De kinderen Johanna Maria , Antonia Henrica en Geertruda Maria zijn in Mierlo-Hout (Helmond) op het Liefdegesticht , zusterklooster op school geweest. Inwonend onbekend.
In 1883 wordt kapelaan Elsen van de Lambertusparochie in Helmond door bisschop Godschalk van ’s-Hertogenbosch benoemd tot bouwpastoor van de nieuw opgerichte parochie van Mierlohout. In 1884 wordt met de bouw van een noodkerk gestart. Dertien jaar later, op 16 mei 1897 wordt de kerk ingewijd die nu nog te bewonderen is aan de Hoofdstraat in Het Hout.

Kort na de oprichting van de nieuwe parochie leeft bij pastoor Elsen al de gedachte om een zusterklooster op te richten. Daarmee zou voorzien worden in katholiek onderwijs voor de meisjes en bovendien zouden de zusters hem behulpzaam kunnen zijn bij het catechismusonderwijs. Met hulp van enkele rijke bevriende families uit Helmond lukt het hem om al in 1889 een liefdegesticht in de Hoofdstraat op te richten met daaraan verbonden een school en enkele ruimten voor de verpleging van bejaarden.

Zusters om het klooster te bevolken vond hij ook via zijn Helmondse vrienden. Een zoon van de familie Bogaers was rector in het moederhuis van de zusters van Schijndel. Deze wist het bestuur van de orde te overreden om vijf zusters naar het nieuwe klooster in Mierlohout uit te zenden en daar een dochterklooster van het Schijndelse moederhuis te beginnen. Het klooster kreeg de naam Alphonsus. Op 1 mei 1889 begonnen de zusters met het onderwijs aan de meisjes uit de parochie. De verzorging van de bejaarden moest nog even wachten. Maar een noodgeval, een vrouw met tyfus werd in september 1889 overgebracht naar het liefdegesticht, maakte dat de ziekenzalen snel ingericht moesten worden. De verzorging van de bejaarden en zieken vormt de basis van wat zal uitgroeien tot het huidige Zorgcentrum Alphonsus.
