Op 15 juli 1912 staat zij ingescheven in de gemeente Boskoop, op het adres Bootstraat 4, vermoedelijk werkt zij als dienstbode bij de familie D.Turkenburg (bron Streekarchief RijnlandsMidden 10/11/2016)
Vervolgens vertrekt zij op 3 februari 1914 naar Sonnevanck in Harderwijk.
Sanatorium Sonnevanck te Harderwijk was een van de tbc-sanatoria van Nederland.
Sanatoria konden worden verdeeld over de toenmalige zuilen: Sonnevanck behoorde tot de gereformeerde zuil, zoals Zonnestraal (Hilversum) tot de socialistische zuil behoorde, Zonnegloren (Soest) tot de Nederlands-hervormde en Berg en Bosch (Bilthoven) tot de rooms-katholieke.
Het sanatorium beschikte over zes paviljoens en een groot hoofdgebouw. Op het terrein stonden ook een basisschool en een ULO-opleiding.
Sonnevanck werd in 1905 opgericht door de Vereniging tot Christelijk Hulpbetoon aan Tuberculoselijders. In het najaar van 1908 ging men van start met de paviljoens 1 en 2. Het hoofdgebouw met het bekende torentje dateert uit 1920. In 1927 startte men met paviljoen 3 en werd er een nieuw röntgengebouw aan het hoofdgebouw gebouwd.
Uit het gemeente Archief van Amsterdam komt naar voren dat Sijtje op 14 september 1916 staat ingeschreven in de gemeente Amsterdam komende van Harderwijk zij staat ingeschreven op het adres Zwanenburgwal 50 bij de familie Grootkerk (Z12/203)
Op 25 november 1916 staat zij ingeschreven op het adres Groenburgwal 58 bij de familie Viool (G207/226 en op 12 februari 1919 staat zij ingeschreven in de 2e Jan steenstraat 38 bij de familie Cohen (J26/62).
Op 23 april 1919 (de dag van haar huwelijk) wordt zij uitgeschreven naar Amstelveen Amsteldijk C30.
