Heden twaalf October negentienhonderd twee en Twintig verschenen voor mij Ambtenaar van den Burgelijken Stand der Gemeente Rolde, ten einde een Huwelijk aan te gaan Jozeph Arends, twee en twintig jaar, koopman geboren te Emmen wonende te Rolde , meerderjarige \oon van Lodewijk Arends koopman wonende te Rolde en van Frederica Wolters overleden , en Geesje Wolters een en twintig jaar , zonder beroep geboren te Vries, wonende te Assen meerderjarige dochter van Hindrik Wolters koopman en van Hilligje Seggers zonder beroep, beide wonende te Assen.
De vader der bruidegom gaf zijne toestemming tot het aangaan van dit huwelijk bij akte verleden voor den Ambtenaar van den Burgelijken Stand vasn Deventer
den vijfden October dezes jaars , terwijl de ouders der bruid hunne toestemming verleenden bij akte verleden voor den Ambtenaar van den Burgelijken Stand van Coevorden den een en twintigsten Augustus dezes jaars. De afkondiging heeft alhier en te Assen op den vijfden Juli dezes jaars zonder stuiting plaats gehad
Ik heb den aanstaanden echtgenooten gevraagd of zij elkander aannemen tot echtgenoten en getrouwelijk zullen vervullen al de plichten, welke door den wet aan den huwelijken staat verbonden zijn. Na hierop van ieder hunner een toestemmend antwoord te hebben verkeregen, heb ik in naam der wet verklaard , dat zij door den echt aan elkander zijn verbonden.
Geddan in tegenwoordigheid van Adriaan Leeuw , oud zesendertig jaren, koopman, en avn Jacob Meester oud achtenvijftig jaren schaapherder beiden wonende te Rolde.
Waarvan akte, welke overeenkomstig de wet is voorgelezen, Bruidegom en Bruid verklaarden niet te kunnen schrijven,als hebbende zulks niet geleerd.
