Dit is de Moordrechtse stam van Van Tiggelen. Deze is vanaf 1611 in Moordrecht ontstaan vanuit ene Joost van Dichelt of van Ticgelen. Ze stamt af van geloofsvluchtelingen die rond 1584 vanuit Oudenaarde (Oost-Vlaanderen, tussen Gent en Kortrijk) naar de Nederlanden getrokken zijn. In België heette de familie Vander Dichelt, van Dichghelt, van Dickele of van Ticchels. Er bestaat geen relatie met stam I. De wortels van deze stam gaan terug naar Kortrijk en naar Rijssel (Lille). Ook de huidige familie van Diggele(n) stamt hiervan af,
