Notes about Henricus Hilkens

Hendrik Hilkens (1751-1826) was zelf afkomstig van Neer. Daar was hij geboren als zoon van Andries Hilkens en Petronella Maessen. Zijn zus Leonora trouwde met pachter Jacob Heymans te Roer. Hendrik hield Jongenhof in pacht tot zijn overlijden. Na enkele jaren vertrok zijn vrouw Joanna in 1829 naar Herten. Enkele kinderen komen we tegen op Muggenbroek, op Asselterhof en op Genhof onder Melick.
