Lambertus (Ben) Portegies Zwart; geboren in Amsterdam 1916, overleden in Den Bosch 2003; vele jaren werkzaam in de scheepsbouw en -reparatie, o.a. bij de Amsterdamse Droogdok Maatschappij, in binnen- en buitenland, o.a. Zuid-Afrika; nam deel aan het verzet tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog en was vele jaren actief in de CPN; vriend van de in 1948 als CPN-lid geschorste Daan Goulooze.

Identiteitspapieren en aanverwante correspondentie en documenten 1939-1951, 1981; manuscript van Portegies Zwart zijn 'herinneringen' 1985-1993; correspondentie en documentatie betreffende de geschiedenis van de CPN en prominente leden van deze partij 1979-1993.
