Beroepen en functies: Nathan (Nico) was vóór de oorlog secretaris-penningmeester van de 'Arbeiders Jeugd Centrale' (A.J.C.), werkte de eerste maanden na de oorlog bij de 'Politieke Opsporings Dienst' (P.O.D.) te Drachten, was daarna rayondirecteur van 'De Arbeiderspers' (Het Vrije Volk) in Leeuwarden, directeur van de 'Nederlandse Vereniging van Suikerzieken' in Den Haag, en bekleedde daarnaast talloze functies in het verenigingsleven. De laatste maanden van zijn leven was Nathan gemeenteraadslid voor de Partij van de Arbeid ( P.v.d.A.) in 's-Gravenhage.
