    Het Woold is een buurtschap in de gemeente Winterswijk, in de Nederlandse provincie Gelderland. Het Woold ligt ten zuidoosten van Winterswijk, in een bosrijk gebied tegen de grens met Duitsland. Door de buurtschap loopt de weg die direct van Winterswijk naar de stad Bocholt in Duitsland leidt. In het Woold is er geen echte ruilverkaveling geweest, waardoor de boeren nog veel kleinere percelen hebben. Ook zijn hierdoor restanten van landweren en de Ruitenburgerschans, een ringwal bewaard gebleven. Naast bos en landbouw kent het Woold ook een veengebied: het Wooldse Veen. (Bron: Wikipedia)
