Opstand in Sobibor
Op 14 oktober 1943 brak een opstand uit onder de circa 600 gevangenen in Sobibor. Circa 300 tot 400 van hen probeerden te vluchten. Velen werden hierbij doodgeschoten of later tijdens klopjachten ontdekt. Nog geen 50 gevangenen hebben de opstand overleefd. Onder hen bevonden zich Selma Wijnberg en Ursula Stern.
