Veel condoleances na overlijden Rob Kiebert

Op internet is maandag een condoleanceregister geopend voor de overleden Rob Kiebert. Het hoofd jeugdopleidingen kwam zaterdag op 47-jarige leeftijd om het leven bij een verkeersongeval.
Kiebert werkte sinds begin dit seizoen bij Sparta, waar hij ook trainer van Jong Sparta was. Hij was eerder werkzaam bij onder meer de amateurvoetbalclubs Excelsior Maassluis en Sportclub Feyenoord.
Op www.condoleance.nl zijn in het eerste uur al enkele tientallen reacties binnengekomen. Vanwege het overlijden van Kiebert gaat het duel van Jong Sparta maandagavond tegen Jong Top Oss niet door.

Onder grote belangstelling is woensdag het hoofd opleidingen van Sparta, Rob Kiebert, in Noordwijk begraven.

Meer dan 800 mensen bewezen de laatste eer aan Kiebert. Hij kwam zaterdag op 47-jarige leeftijd bij een verkeers-ongeval om het leven.

De taken van Kiebert als trainer van Jong Sparta worden tot het eind van dit seizoen overgenomen door David Nacimento. De oud speler van de club werkt op dit moment als trainer van de C1, maar zal volgend seizoen niet meer bij Sparta werkzaam zijn.

Maandagavond was op Terbregge de jaarlijkse afsluiting van de jeugdopleiding met alle betrokken medewerkers en vrijwilligers. Tijdens deze gezellige bijeenkomst, met een barbecue, werd de jaarlijkse Rob Kiebert-award uitgereikt.

Uit handen van Kevin Valkenburg ontving ‘oma’ Ria Lindner de Rob Kiebert-award. Oma Ria doet al jaren vrijwillig diverse werkzaamheden op Terbregge, waarbij o.a. het koken van maaltijden voor jeugdspelers.
