Zijn nageslacht ging de naam Peelen voeren, na zijn dood werd hij hiermee ook vermeld. Hij overleden voor 1731.

Huwde voor 23 april 1684 Teunisje Hendricx, vermeld als lidmaat te Beekbergen 14 februari 1731, begraven Beekbergen 11 januari 1740, dochter van Hendrick Peelen en Fenneken Luicas.
