Notes about Willem Jacob van Elten

Linked to: Alida de Ru (1862-1882), death registration
He recognized Willem Hendrik as his natural child only two years after his birth, following Alida's death.

In 1885, he married Christina Bakker with whom he had three children, Kniertje (1889), Gesina (1891) and Johannes Gerardus Balthasar (1896). Als een van hun nakomelingen een foto heeft van Willem Jacob van Elten, zou ik daar heel graag een kopie van krijgen (HB).

In 1908, he refused to appear at a judge's office after an official convocation in connection with the proposed wedding of his son Willem Hendrik with Maria Helena Cramer van den Bogaart.

On 29-11-1909 he moved with Christina, Gesina and Johannes to Geuzenweg 167, Hilversum.
