De kosten van de overtocht, per schip, werden zelfs door de Argentijnse overheid voorgeschoten. Mevr. Plandsoen Vader kwam als weduwe met 4 kinderen noodgedwongen na twee jaar uit Argentinië terug naar Oud Vossemeer.
