Sources: Pic of headstone Obituary; Streator Times Press, Nov 27, 1908 JOHN KALUSZA IS CLAIMED BY DEATH John Kalusza died yesterday afternoon at 1o'clock in his home at old No 3. The cause of death was asthma from which the deceased had suffered for the past three years. Mr. Kalusza was born in Austria-Hungary. He was 68 years of age and had been in this country for the past twenty-one years, coming direct from his native land to Streator. He was a miner by occupation. He leaves a wife, five children, John Anna Mary, Leo and Matilda. The funeral service will be held tomorrow morning at 9 o-clock at the Slavish Catholic church with burial at the Slavish Cemetery.
