In The Name OF God Amen The Seventh Day of November in the Year of
our Lord OneThousand Seven Hundred and Forty Eight Frederick Godlchalk
of Franckoma Township in the County of Philidelphia and State of
Pennsylvania Husbandman being at present but weak of (body) but of a
Sound, Disposing, mind and Memory thanks be unto the Lord (whose)
Goodness and Mercy towards me and now Considering the Uncertainty
Transitery Life and the certainty of Death do make and ordain (this) my
Last Will and Testiment in a Manner and form following First I
Recommend my soul into the hands of Almighty God (that gave it) and
Commit my body to the Earth from whence it came Decently (to be)
Buried at the Discretion of my Executors hereafter named and (as) for
the worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased the Lord to Blessmine
Endeavors I give and dispose the same as followeth Infirmes? I give
(and) bequeath unto my loving wife Anna Mary Godlchalk the third part of
all my Estate both Real and Personal after all my just Debts (are) paid
During her natural Life and after her Death my Will is that it Shall be
Equally Divided Between my five Children to Witt Agnes Panneak, wife
of Yost Panneak and Andrew Godlichalk, Mary Crout wife of Johan Crout
and Ann Alleback wife of Christian Alleback and Elizabeth Myer wife of
Henry Myer They for to have share and share alike of the aforesaid third
part after their Mothers Decease Item and it is further my Will that my
Son Andrew Godtchalk shall receiveThirty Pounds more out of the Rest of
my Estate then any of the other Children Item and it is further my will
that the Remainder (..)shall Equally be Divided Between my five Children
Agnes Andrew Mary Ann and Elizabeth Share and Share alike Item and it
is further my will that my Son in Law Johan Crout shall have Twenty
five acres (of land) out of my Tract whereon he now Dwelleth he paying
unto my (Estate) the just and full Sum of Ten pounds within one year
after my Decease (and) further it is my Will that the said Ten Pounds
shall be Divided (in five) Equal parts Between my five children Item and
further it is (my will) that my Loving Wife shall have free Privileges for
to have free (board and) room in the said House wherein we now do Dwell
or to have a house (built ) on the said Tract of Land Sufficient for her
and Suitable to her Item Further it is my Will that after my Decease that
