      Van de werf van den heer H. de Goede aldaar is te water gelaten het ijzeren tjalkschip Res Nova, groot 120 ton, voor rekening van den gezagvoerder Johannes Pol, te Zwartsluis.

Het komt in de plaats van het bekende schip de "Gerard Dou", dat reeds verscheidene plaatsen in ons land bezocht. Eigenaar is de heer M.Th.J. v.d. Hoek, van Edam.
