SHERREN, Miriam - At the Community Nursing Home, Alexandria on Thursday, July 29, 2010. Miriam Camilla Sherren (nee Girard) of Alexandria; age 92 years. Beloved wife of the late Roy Sherren. Loving mother of Anthony Sherren (Louise) of Georgetown, Mary-Lynne Sauv'e9 (Marc) of Glen Robertson, and James Berthiaume (Anne) of Vankleek Hill. Predeceased by three brothers Paul, Kevin and Bernard Girard. Dear daughter of the late Luc Girard and the late Dora O'Donnell. Also survived by eight grandchildren M'e9lanie, Patrick and St'e9phanie Sherren, Raylene, Jenna and Jordan Sauv'e9, and Christopher and Corey Berthiaume. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Finnan's Cathedral, Alexandria on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 11am. At the family's request, there will be no visitation. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the MUNRO & MORRIS FUNERAL HOMES LTD., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772). In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Miriam, a tree will be planted in Memory Woods. A tree grows-memories live.
