Notes about Madeline Ida THORNE

Madeline Thorne is thought to have come from Yorkshire. Very little is known about her with the reason being is that the Sherren family did not entirely approve of the marriage. [notes taken from Joseph Sherren's book] According to the passenger list of 1878-1960, She and her husband, James,aged 44 and 45, left Brisbane, Australia on the ship called,"The Lusitania" and arrived in Liverpoole, England on 21 April 1914. Also according to the passenger list of 1878-1960, Madeline and her husband, James, aged 56 and 58 left Kingston, Port Limon, Cristobol, Africa on the ship called, " Ariguani" and arrived in Bristol, England on 26 Nov. 1928.
