Nathan Munro's name later became spelled Monroe. Nathan Munro was named guardian of Willia m Humphrey and his younger siblings. Nathan Munro learned that William was not being well tr eated in the home where he had been placed so Nathan Munro took him into his own home where h e stayed until adulthood and married Nathan's daughter Lydia.
