Bron: Geschiedenis van het Kruis- of Doumaleen te Aldeboarn

Taede was een man van aanzien in Aldeboarn. Hij was ouderling en bijzitter van Uiteringadeel en collator (patroon van de kerk met benoeming bevoegdheid).
Hij huurt de Doumasate van zijn stiefdochter Tittie en zal dus waarschijnlijk ook hereboer / huisman geweest zijn.
De zoon van Tittie, Marten, verkoopt 2/3 deel van de Doumasate aan Taede voor 4100 caroligulden, die vanaf 1690 al ten dele eigenaar was, dus nu de enig eigenaar en collator was van het Kruis- of Doumaleen.

Hij draagt het leen deels over aan zijn erfgenamen. In 1716 kregen zijn beide dochter 1/6 deel.

CURATOR VOOR ZIJN KLEINKINDEREN
Gauma State in Oudeboorn. In 1640 was Adrianus Slyp cum sociis eigenaar en de gebruiker was Freeck Pyters. In 1700 Ael en Mecke Mercx (Gauma), die ook voor een klein deel eigenaren waren van het naastgelegen Douma State. Zij waren mogelijk beiden nog niet meerderjarig, want grootvader Taede Ages treed dan nog op als hun curator. De toen 105 pondemaat, bijna 40 hectare, grote "zate met huysinge" Gauma State werd verpacht aan Hyltie Ringers.
