Galveston - REGINA MANN KOTTWITZ, age 95, passed away Tuesday, May 18,2004 at Edgewater Retirement Center. She was the daughter of Bertha Rosenthal Mann and Daniel E. Mann born in Alexandria, La. on January 14, 1909. She was a resident of Galveston for over 75 years and was the executive director of the Galveston Red Cross. She was a member of Temple B'nai Israel in Galveston and Gimulth Chassodim Temple in Alexandria, LA. She was also a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism. She was preceded in death by both of her husbands, Carl Seidl and Alex Kottwitz; and granddaughter Leslie Kottwitz. She is survived by her step-sons Jerry Kottwitz and Stanley Kottwitz and wife Beverly; grandchildren Bradley Kottwitz, Alysa Neill, Mason Granade, Michael Kottwitz, Lisa Sobel, Douglas Bratton and Angela Bratton; 12 great-grandchildren; and cousin Johanna Horn of Alexandria, LA. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 20, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. at Hebrew Benevolent Cemetery, with Rabbi James Kessler officiating
