      LifeSketch: In 1660-1663, 1665, 1667-1668, 1678-1679 en 1681 is Jan Jansz Westenengh schepen van Doorn. In 1657, 1660, 1664 is Jan Jansz Westeneng, won. Doorn gemachtigde van het Barbara- en Laurens Gasthuis te Utrecht (Dorpsgerecht Doorn 529; 01-12-1657; 08-11-1660; 20-01-1664). In 1663 wordt Jan Jansz Westenengh, wed. Maechien Teunis genoemd als erfgenaam van zijn schoonvader (Dorpsgerecht Doorn 529; 22-01-1663). Jan Jansz van Westenengh en zijn vrouw Dirckgen Aelberts verkopen aan Thonis Jacobsz een erf en goed, met huis, hof, hofstede, berg, schuur, schaapskooi met bouw- en weilanden, plag- en heivelden, 'schaepstreeck', in de Birckt en Veen, onder Maarn. Gebruikt door Aert Jacobsz. Met recht van overpad voor Thonis Jacobsz over het land van Jan Jacobsz, naar de Birckt, tenzij het ingezaaid is. Gerechtsmannen van Hamersveld: Henrick Willemsz en Claes Willemsz. (Dorpsgerecht Leusden 1050, fol. 86-86vo; 18-12- 1663). In 1671 koopt Jan Jansz Westeneng ca. zes morgen land onder Doorn van de familie Van Couwenhoven te Utrecht. Daarnaast koopt hij ook het erf Hogerhorst (Dorpsgerecht Doorn 530; 30-01-1671). In 1671 stelt Jan Jansz Westeneng als onderpand voor zijn kinderen aan de mombers: aan de twee jongsten, Teunis en Cornelis de zes morgen onder Doorn en aan de oudste, Jan, zijn boerderij (Dorpsgerecht Doorn 530; 07-03-1671). In 1678, 1679-1681 is Jan Jansz Westenengh schepen van Doorn. In 1678 stelt Jan Jansz Westenengh zijn inboedel, have en vee ter beschikking van de schout.
