"Hij was depressief en pleegde waarschijnlijk zelfmoord. Zijn vrouw stierf 5 jaar later in Nijmegen. Hierdoor werden hun kinderen door de fam. Six opgevoed. Deze waren terecht boos over het onverantwoordelijk gedrag van Justinus en gaven twee van de kinderen (Egbert en Willem) de goedkoopste, maar nette, opvoeding: officiersopleiding in Ned. Indieen. Een derde, Justinus, vertrok naar Amerika en zoon Philip naar Belgie. Zijn dochter Elisabeth pleegde zelfmoord in Londen. Alleen Anna Maria trouwe op stand met Jan Willem Cramerus. De fam. Six behielt de erfstukken van de fam. de Beyer zoals de fam. schildereien. Jarenlater zag kleinzoon Egbert deze in een huis van de fam. Six aan de muur hangen, toen hij hier op bezoek was om te zien hoe een cetrale verwarming werkte. Ook ik, werderom een kleinzoon, nu van Egbert, zag in 1985 ziver bestek met fam. wapens van Maria de Beyer en van der Bruggen uit 1800 en schildereien van Jacob de Beyer en Elisabeth Mondekens uit 1630, bij de fam. Six in Wassenaar.
Kotom de hele fam. viel uit elkaar door deze vroege dood van de beide ouders.
Hij trouwde op 22.4.1847 te Utrecht met Anna Helena (Baronesse) Six."
