Newfoundland, Canada (source: Nova Scotia Archives). He married MARGARET ANN
MACNEIL(source: Freda Gillis; History of Antigonish) abt. 1825 in Judique, Cape Breton, N.S., daughter
of ALEXANDER MACNEIL and CATHERINE MACDONALD. She was born in 1810 in Broad Cove,
Cape Breton, N.S. (source: age given at death) and died Aug 26 1904 (source: headstone- she died at age
94) Both Donald and Margaret were buried in Chapel Green Cemetery, Codroy, Nfld. The family settled in
Grand River, Codroy Vallery, Newfoundland on Aug 15, 1851.
