Cora A. Ballman, 104, of Tacoma died Monday June 14, 1999 in Tacoma. She was born Aug. 13, 1894 in Collegeville, Minnesota to Francis and Walburga Meyer. She was a homemaker but also ran a number of restaurants with her husband in the Tacoma area. She is survived by her children, Lillian Copeland of Tacoma, Eloise Zitka of Tacoma, Genevieve Hammett of Harstein Island, WA, Mel Ballman of Desert Hot Springs, CA, Larry Ballman of Ocean Park, WA, Roger Ballman of Chandler, AZ, Patricia Palleschi of Federal Way, 1 sister, Anna Kvetensky of Minneapolis, MN, Jerome Meyer of St. Joseph, MN and numerous grandchilden, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 18, 1999 at 11:00 AM at Fir Lane Funeral Home in Spanaway, WA. The service will conclude at the chapel.
