    L'an mil huit cent soixante un, le vingt-trois septembre à quatre heures du soir, pardevant nous Jean Bonnin maire de la commune de Mers, canton de Neuvy St Sepulcre est comparu Selleron François âgé de vingt neuf ans, cantonier au Tarde, commune de Mers, lequel nous a présenté un enfant du sexe féminin née hier soir à huit heures du soir en son domicile au Tarde de cette commune de lui déclarant et de Chaussé Marie son épouse âgée de vingt huit ans, et auquel il a déclaré vouloir donné [sic] le prénom de Sophie. Les dites déclarations faites en présence de Gay Pierre âgé de trente six ans, cantonier et Forêt Jean âgé de trente deux ans journalier tous les deux domiciliés au Tarde, commune de Mers, lecture faite du présent acte au père de l'enfant et aux témoins, il n'ont su signer sauf le père de l'enfant qui a signé avec nous.

    Le huit août mil neuf cent trente un, trois heures, Sophie Selleron, sans profession, née à Mers (Indre) le vingt deux septembre mil huit cent soixante un, fille des époux François Selleron et Marie Chaussé, décédés, veuve en première noces de Félix Auvillain, veuve en secondes noces de Jean Cruchant, domiciliée à Cluis (Indre) est décédée faubourg Saint Denis.
    Dressé le huit août mil neuf cent trente un, seize heures, sur la déclaration de Henriette Lecoq épouse Mérigot, trente neuf ans, sans profession, domiciliée à Châteauroux faubourg Saint Denis qui lecture faite a signé avec nous, Joseph Bellier, chevalier de la Légion d'Honneur, officier de l'Etat civil de Châteauroux.
    Transcrit par nous, Emmanuel Renaud maire de Cluis, le premier octobre mil neuf cent trente un à onze heures.
